Lessons of Emunah and Bitachon from the Weekly Parshah
As Jews, we know that emunah and bitachon, belief and trust in Hashem, are the bedrock of our lives, the foundation of our existence. But how can we grow and strengthen ourselves in these mitzvos on a practical level? We lead busy lives, full of distractions. What can we do to really make emunah and bitachon a part of our essence?
The answer is to constantly be learning about these mitzvos and discussing them, so that they truly become embedded within us. And a fitting place to start is in the Torah itself, as it offers a wealth of enlightening lessons that we can apply to our lives and use to strengthen ourselves in emunah and bitachon.
In The Parshah of Emunah, Rabbi Chaim Weinberg takes us through the parshiyos, bringing out insightful yet practical lessons in emunah and bitachon and showing us that they are as applicable and relevant today as ever. These pieces can easily be shared at the Shabbos table or read independently, and can be excellent springboards for discussion on how we can come to rely wholly on Hashem, trusting implicitly in Him at all times so that we can lead blissful, worry-free lives.
