Tools of the Trade

Did you know that, in addition to jobs like doctors, builders, and painters, there are other, special Jewish jobs you could have? You could be a sofer, or a rebbi, or a shatnez checker, or a sheitel macher, and lots more! What would you need for such a job? In this delightful children’s book, author Aviva Werner explores many common Jewish jobs and the tools each one requires. Your child will be enthralled by the guessing game on each page, as well as by the adorable illustrations that adorn each one-while at the same time gaining valuable knowledge about many “Jewish professions.” An intriguing twist for the Jewish child on the familiar “What are you going to be when you grow up?” question!
